Week 12 blogging

A friend showed me this video on youtube discussing what the world would be like if gender roles were reversed. As I was watching this video I began to realize that reversing gender roles is not a solution for gender inequality. Perhaps it began as a way to raise an awareness and an appreciation for certain gender roles, but using it as a solution for the stereotypes really doesn't make much sense. There are a number of people who attempt to breakdown gender stereotypes by merely placing these stereotypes upon the opposite gender, which only furthers the stereotype.
