            The present rate suicides and suicides attempt by children and adolescents are causing a major concern o n the issue bringing up children. As per the study by US health department on youth suicide, this issue also affects both the gay and lesbian youths due to the hostile and condemning environments in which they face in the society. This hostility may be inflicted inform of verbal as well as physical abuse, rejection and subjection to isolations from m their families and peer. Compared to other groups of people, lesbians and gay youths are two to three times more at risk of committing and attempting to commit suicide.  Teachers and professors understanding on the enjoined homophobia uniformity in relation to homosexual desires, adults, children, adolescent and their identities plays a major role in reducing the rates  of these case.

This may also act as the initial stages of the development of proto-gay children.

            According to Friedman and green, this begins with getting a properly male Core Gender Identity in place. Freidman does not see the need to connect or rather relate masculinity with male homosexuality hence this need not to be taken as a scapegoat. There is no need of homosexual panic based on development of male heterosexuality, which is treated by ego psychology.
Effects of the new psychiatry of gay acceptance
