I clicked on this article because of the interesting title: "The Men behind the War on Women".
The article is about the abortion debate in health care reforms discussions currently happening in Congress. The article blames the US Conference of Catholic Bishops for pro-life measures in Obama's health care reform law and the House of Rep.'s most recent vote to reduce federal family planning funds. The article explains complex politics behind the pro-life and pro-chioce debate that relates to our discussion earlier in the year.
I was particularly curious about this article because of the "War on Women" in the article. The title suggests that the pro-life argument is a war or attack on women. This implies that women are necessarily pro-choice and disregards the fact that pro-life and pro-choice stance is not gendered. Considering the source of the article, Huffington Post, I found this article an interesting read.
